Rejouissance ("rejoicing") is the word for this glorious evening of cantatas and concertos by this rousing Scottish group. Conducted by John Butt and with singers Matthew Brook, Hugo Hymas, Joanne Lunn, and Jess Dandy, they present Bach in performances that go to the heart of how and why Bach's music continues to inspire.
Come enjoy an evening of classics with The Dunedin Consort!
"All of it was played and sung with the fleetness, clarity and engagement we have come to expect from Butt and the Consort. Instrumental textures were beautifully honed, the counterpoint marvellously clear, the concertante solos eloquent and poised. Playing and choral singing had tremendous elan, and the soloists were consistently superb... Wonderful, every second of it."-The Guardian
