Kick off an exciting weekend of The Big Exchange by starting your day at the San Diego Model Railroad Museum! SDMRM is hosting a special early morning visiting opportunity for members of any organization participating in The Big Exchange. At this event, you'll got to do a scavenger hunt and get to know our exhibit layouts, meet and greet our resident model railroad volunteers who design, maintain, and operate our exhibits.

San Diego Model Railroad Museum
The San Diego Model Railroad Museum is the largest and only accredited scale Model Railroad Museum in the United States. SDMRM has collections of some of the first scale model trains ever to be built in the entire world! Plus, the museum has over 27,000 square feet of exhibiting layouts featuring the world famous Tehachapi Pass Exhibit, Historic San Diego and Arizona Eastern Exhibit, SoCal's Largest N'scale Exhibit, O-Guage Exhibit, and award winning Toy Train Gallery. The museum has extended summer hours.
