Love City Heights and Waldorf School of San Diego will be restoring a student lead mural they created Wednesday May 25 from 12:30 - 3 p.m. at Mid-City Wash located at 3551 University Avenue, San Diego, Ca. 92104.
#theavenuemuralproject is a 5 yearlong effort to create a Drive-Thru Gallery along the 1 mile stretch of University Avenue between the 805 & 15 freeways. In collaboration with Waldorf School of San Diego, students conceptualized and created a mural for the community to add to the 20+ diverse murals created within the last 5 years made by local, international and youth artists to deter graffiti and provide a positive message.
