VAMP is So Say We All's monthly nonfiction storytelling showcase. It's a night of comedy, aggressive truths, and the spaces in between. June's theme: RIDE OR DIE. So heres’s to the friends who show up when called, no matter how much time has passed. The lovers who don’t ask where you buried the bodies, but can tell you where to dig. The battle buddies and family of choice who make us bigger for having them by our side. Get in, y'all, it's storytelling night at the Whistle Stop!

Whistle Stop Bar
The Whistle Stop Bar was established in 1979 in the South Park/Golden Hill neighborhood of San Diego, California. The bar was boarded up for the nineties only to be re-established in May of 2001. The Whistle Stop is the "little bar that could" and does; featuring a full bar (twelve beers on draft, bottled beers, wine, a great selection of top shelf liquor, and a well that can't be beat!), weekly dj events, board games, fashion shows, political rallies, live radio remotes, knitting jams, craft fairs, live music, movie screenings, pool, darts, video games, outstanding jukebox selection and a hidden smoking patio! The Whistle Stop is open Monday - Friday 5 p.m. to 2 a.m., Sat. & Sun. 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. Don' t forget about The Whistlestop HAPPY HOUR!
