DIY Cosplay Series: Cosplayer Meet & Greet

Calling cosplayers of all ages and skill levels! Join us for a presentation featuring local cosplayers who will delve into their costume-building process. Following the presentation, there will be light refreshments and a meet & greet where fellow cosplayers can mingle and exchange ideas, resources, and tips.

Registration is encouraged.

What is Cosplay? The term combines the words "costume" and "play" and is frequently seen at fan conventions, where fans dress up as different characters. Interested in cosplay but don't know where to start? Have you cosplayed before and want to learn new skills? Good news! This DIY Cosplay Series is for you!

The Central IDEA Lab has put together workshops to help aspiring and current cosplayers learn a variety of making skills using the equipment in the IDEA Lab to create, embellish, or level up their costumes. Attend one of our informational sessions to get inspired and to meet other cosplayers.
