July 11 - “Streaker” (Switzerland)

July 25 - “Campeones” (Spain)

"CAMPEONES" es la nueva película de Javier Fesser (El Milagro de P. Tinto, Camino, Mortadelo y Filemón contra Jimmy el cachondo) protagonizada por Javier Gutiérrez (La Isla Mínima, Plan de Fuga, El Autor). Una comedia en la que Marco, el segundo entrenador de un equipo de baloncesto profesional, después de un percance con la justicia acaba entrenando a un equipo formado por personas con discapacidad intelectual. CAMPEONES es la comedia española del año que llega a los cines el 6 de abril.

August 1 - “Harry And Snowman” (USA)

"Harry & Snowman" follows the Cinderella story of Dutch immigrant Harry deLeyer and his transformative relationship with a broken down Amish plow horse –named Snowman - that he rescued off a slaughter truck bound for the glue factory. In less than two years, Harry and Snowman would go on to win the triple crown of show jumping, beating the nation’s blue bloods and traveling the world together as they became the media darlings of the 1950s and 60s. Their chance meeting at a Pennsylvania horse auction saved them both and crafted a friendship that would last a lifetime, as told by 86-year-old Harry firsthand for the very first time.

Starring: Paul Mercurio, Tara Morice, Bill Hunter Directed By: Baz Luhrmann Synopsis: A maverick dancer risks his career by performing an unusual routine and sets out to succeed with a new partner.

August 15 - “Best in Show” (USA)

Cinema Under the Stars is an intimate outdoor movie theater in Mission Hills, directly behind Tops Salon. The theater features a 20-foot screen with HD projection and THX surround sound. Open air seating includes your choice of single & double zero-gravity recliners, love seat cabanas, or deck chairs with ottomans. For additional comfort, there are pillows, blankets and heaters and a waterproof canvas cover installed for the Winter months, in case of rain. Concessions: Popcorn, candy and assorted hot or cold beverages are $2 each. There are also several restaurants within walking distance in the neighborhood for dinner before the movie. Enjoy classic films, cult favorites and recent releases on the weekends, year round. There will be a brief introduction and a classic cartoon prior to the film. Films begin at 8 p.m. Winter/Spring - January through March (Friday, Saturdays, and some Sundays) Spring - April and May (usually Friday, Saturday, Sundays) Summer - Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sundays Fall - After Labor Day, September through October (usually Friday, Saturday, Sundays) (Films for November and December will be announced soon) Admission - (cash or check only) Members - $17.00 General - $18.00 Online Reservations - $20.00 (use credit card to reserve seats) Hours - Box office opens at 6 p.m. on movie nights Reservations - Begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesdays Parking - there is a paid parking lot next door and free street parking in the neighborhood, after 6:00 p.m.
