Comic-Con badge holders: The 19th San Diego International Children's Film Festival opens Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Comic-Con International, with a full day of short films from around the world, and filmmaker and animator appearances.
No Comic-Con badge needed: The festival continues all day Saturday, July 29 at the beautiful Neil Morgan Auditorium at the San Diego Central Library downtown, with more short films from around the world - animation, live action and documentary, clustered for different age groups, toddlers through teens.
Free admission to Comic-Con screenings (July 23) for those with a Comic-Con badge, and free admission for everyone to all other San Diego screenings (July 29).

San Diego Central Library @ Joan Λ Irwin Jacobs Common, opened its doors to a new building, a 497,654 square feet on September 28, 2013. The New facility has over 400 computer devices, 22 study rooms, a charter high school, 3D printer (maker lab), auditorium, teen center, homework center, Veteran’s Resource Center, art gallery, rare book room, children’s library, café and much more.
