Originally from Burkina Faso, West Africa, Adama Bilorou brings his fresh, upbeat, funky take on Afro-jazz to California!

Street jazz meets polyrhythmic West African rhythms, overlaid with Bilorou’s passion for broadening the scope of traditional West African instruments and his intention to take his audiences on a sound journey without boundaries.

Bilorou’s agility, expertise and talent on instruments like the kora (West African harp), balafon (West African xylophone) and djembe are augmented by his five-piece contemporary band, creating an unforgettable experience of superior musicianship, rhythm and connection.
