Let's play Lotería, the classic Mexican game of chance!
Join us as we celebrate both Nuestra Cultura (formerly Latinx Heritage Month) from September 15 - October 15, and Welcome Week from September 8-17, by playing Lotería, a traditional Mexican game similar to bingo that is quick, fun, and easy to play! We'll have Lotería, refreshments, music and more! Play for a chance to win cool prizes.
Lotería can be enjoyed by kids and/or adults, from ages 7-107.
Game play is open to the first 20 participants.
Pacific Beach/Taylor Branch Library
The Pacific Beach/Taylor Library is one of 35 branches of the San Diego Public Library. The PB Library provides a wide range of services to the community. Manuel Oncina, the architect, designed the building to resemble the shape of a nautilus shell. While the shell motif is best seen from overhead, the open design of the building and the many windows that let in sunlight create an organic feel that ties in with the natural beauty of this beach community. Nestled against the Taylor Greene, a park just east of the library that completes the rest of the city block, the Library is a welcoming destination point. We hope that you enjoy your virtual visit to the Pacific Beach/Taylor Branch Library. We are looking forward to seeing you here -- online & in person -- often!
