On the Winter Solstice we experience the longest night of the year and, with the following day’s dawning, comes the return of the light. Winter Solstice is an ages old observance of the earth’s turning and a celebration honoring endings and beginnings, transformation and renewal. As this longest night approaches, join us as we gather to light our Solstice candles and write our way into the dark.

San Diego Writers, Ink is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We offer classes, groups, workshops, readings and other literary events at The Ink Spot and other locations throughout San Diego County. Parking: Plenty of free parking near building, including parking lot just outside. Offices are upstairs from the Women’s History Museum. Hours: We are only open during events and classes. Please check our schedule. Most classes and events are held in the Ink Spot but some are held in other locations throughout San Diego, including the La Jolla Public Library and Lestat’s Coffee House. Please double-check where your event is being held.
