Intro to Chalk Lettering with Alex Hirsch

Join us in learning about the basic tools and techniques needed to create your own hand-lettered chalkboard. We will explore various lettering types (including modern calligraphy style), how to design a layout, tips for keeping your lettering straight and aligned, and even how to add decorative elements to your design.

Class Size: 8 students

Who should attend?

- This class is encouraged for students of all levels; including someone who has never taken a lettering or calligraphy class before, or someone who wants to level up their basic knowledge and skills.

In this 2.5 hour session, we will cover:

- The basics of hand lettering

- How to design and letter on your own chalkboard

Materials included:

- 8”x10” chalkboard

- Chalk lettering supplies

All workshops are non-refundable. However, tickets can be easily transferred to another person by emailing us the name and email address of the new participant.
