The 4th Candlewood Arts Festival includes a performance by Karla Diaz on Galleta Meadows centering community stories from Borrego Springs; a newly commissioned sculpture by Debra Scacco engaging the stories of water embedded in the land around Borrego Springs; the return of a sculpture by Pearl C. Hsiung inspired by our relationship to nature and the form of desert flora; and an exhibition of work by students at Borrego Springs High School and Middle School along side work by past Candlewood artists. Join us for art making workshops, an artists' talk, and a celebratory opening party with refreshments. Free and open to everyone. Full schedule and details on the website.
