Solar Eclipse Viewing Party at the Julian Library
Join the Julian Dark Sky Network at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 8, right outside the Julian Library!
Come and watch as our own moon swings in front of the sun and nearly blocks it out! Although we know which of these two bodies will prevail, it's still quite an event to watch and experience! Did you ever wonder if everything in the universe is in motion? This will give you some food for thought!
We'll have plenty of free eclipse glasses for safe viewing, courtesy of the Julian Library. We'll also have solar telescopes set up for viewing the sunspots, flares, prominences and granular photosphere of our nearest star, the sun.
This event is FREE, including the eclipse viewing glasses!
