Join in the joy of live, up-close storytelling--the original social media. Tellabration!™ is a worldwide synchronous celebration of storytelling. Our Ocean Beach storytelling concert reflects on the theme of "In a Grain of Sand". This phrase is parsed from a poem by William Blake--"To see the world in a grain of sand".
Come hear members of Storytellers of San Diego interpret and expand on the theme with humor, empathy and pathos. Tales are personal, original, folkloric, literary. The storytellers are Marilyn McPhie, Jim Dieckmann, Emily Stamets, Patchwork Story Theatre (Patti Christensen and James Nelson-Lucas,) Carol Jaksa, JT Moring with guitar, Aunt Li-Anne, and David Schmidt. Stories are designed for ages twelve and up.
