El Martillo Press is proud to partner with Centro Cultural de la Raza and The Mexican Cultural Institute of Los Angeles for the event FLORICANTO. Featuring over 20 authors from Mexico and the USA! In the spirit of all of the great tardeadas and floricantos of the past, we seek to begin a holiday tradition; one in which we welcome our friends from the South to join us for an evening of poetry, music, drink, dance and song! With poets, novelists, short story writers, and children’s authors from Tijuana, Mexicali, San Diego, Greater Los Angeles, and San Francisco, we want to build bridges between authors from all over the Californias.
