Rugs have a deep history as a textile art, but also as objects that create specific spaces. Using handheld tufting machines, participants can create and design their own rugs using colorful yarn.

Learn how to create and translate a design for the medium as well as learn the basics of tufting and begin filling in your designs. We kindly ask that adults actively participate in this art activity alongside any child under the age of 11.
