Travel has taken a hit the past few years with the global pandemic. But, the good news is it’s back! People have started traveling again and websites, magazines, along with other media outlets are paying writers for travelogues.
I’ve been a travel journalist for 22 years. In this class I’ll share tips of the trade mastered over the decades. You’ll learn how to sell your vacation stories to publications and online. My class teaches how to access editors, decipher editorial guidelines, compose a query, negotiate contracts, qualify for press trips, find unique story angles, delve into social media, become a published author, and much more.
