Mary Chapin Carpenter is a Grammy Award-winning folk-rock and country music singer-songwriter and musician who released her debut album, "Hometown Girl," on July 30, 1987 through Columbia Records. In 1992, Carpenter released her best-selling album, "Come On Come On," which featured seven singles hitting the top-10 on the Billboard country chart. Carpenter released her latest album, "Dirt and the Stars," on August 7, 2020.
