Enjoy an exciting lineup of local artists and cultural offerings including performances by Mariachi Continental SD, DanzArts, Radical Ensamble, Tato Monraz and Ricardo Arredondo, Música del Barrio, and Los Charros de Rancho del Sol de San Ysidro. We are honored to celebrate this event with the Mexican Consulate in San Diego with a special guest appearance of Ambassador Alicia Kerber, Consul General of Mexico in San Diego, to commemorate this day by reciting “El Grito”, followed by a sing-along of the National Anthem.

Hosts include Rudy Acosta and Myrel Soto. AXIS is produced by Family and Cross-cultural Programs Manager Valeria Vega.

La serie de eventos AXIS presenta la Celebración de la Independencia de México, con una emocionante cartelera de artistas locales y ofertas culturales incluyendo a Mariachi Continental SD, DanzArts, Radical Ensamble, Tato Monraz y Ricardo Arredondo, Música del Barrio, y Los Charros de Rancho del Sol de San Ysidro. Con la participación especial de la Embajadora Alicia Kerber, Cónsul General de México en San Diego, quién recitará “El Grito” seguido de un canto del Himno Nacional.

Los maestros de ceremonias incluyen a Rudy Acosta y Myrel Soto. AXIS es producido por Valeria Vega, Coordinadora de programas familiares y culturales.
