This September, celebrate California's history at Old Town San Diego State Historic Park as it comes alive with the vibrant sights, sounds, and traditions of Fiestas Patrias! From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the park invites families, locals, and visitors to join in a festive celebration honoring the start of Mexico's fight for Independence. Join Old Town San Diego State Historic Park for this family-friendly celebration of Mexican culture and history!

Parade
Don't miss out on a unique spectacle of 1800s period clothing as park staff and volunteers proudly parade around the plaza in celebration of Fiestas Patrias. Feel free to take pictures and even join in at the back of the line!
Guac' Off
Who has the best guacamole in Old Town San Diego? You can decide in the second annual Old Town Guac’ Off hosted by the Boosters of Old Town San Diego and Old Town San Diego Chamber of Commerce. $1 per tasting, $5 for a flight.
