On Oct. 12 In Real Life (IRL) Movie Club will be screening "MY OMAHA" at the UltraStar Mission Valley Cinema in San Diego. The documentary, which will be screened at dozens of independent theaters across the United States on the same night, tells the story of filmmaker Nick Beaulieu's personal journey to document and reconcile with his terminally ill father, a staunch pro-Trump supporter.

IRL Movie Club is a national, non-profit organization on a mission to strengthen democracy through the power of shared experience and dialogue.

By design, the organization is low tech, grass roots, and community driven. Instead of a traditional Q&A after the show, members are encouraged to say hello to their seatmates, stick around to chat about the film, and spill out into their local neighborhoods for coffee, dinner, and connection. To make it as accessible as possible, the organization also subsidizes tickets and only charges $5 per person. Membership to the club is free.
