Join the San Pasqual Band of the Kumeyaay Nation as they host Indigenous Peoples' Celebration for the community at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. All are welcome to this joyous celebration of the Kumeyaay people and the Indigenous community, their commitment to wildlife, and their culture.

The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is an expansive wildlife sanctuary that is home to more than 3,500 animals representing more than 400 species. Its renowned botanical collection represents 3,500 species and 1.5 million specimens. Over half of the Park’s 1,800 acres (730 hectares) have been set aside as protected native species habitat. It is located 30 miles (48 kilometers) north of downtown San Diego in the San Pasqual Valley near Escondido, California. The Safari Park is the sister facility of the San Diego Zoo. HOURS OF OPERATION: Summer Hours/Summer Safari (June 29–August 18): 9 a.m.–7 p.m. Summer Hours (August 19–September 2): 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Summer/Fall Hours (September 3–November 28): 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Fall Hours/Thanksgiving Weekend (November 29–December 1): 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Fall/Winter Hours (December 2–25): 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Winter Hours (December 26–31): 9 a.m.–6 p.m. GET TICKETS! PARKING: $10 per vehicle, $15 for RV. Diamond Club membership and up receives free parking: all other members receive a $3 discount with valid ID. Preferred parking is available on weekends and holidays for an additional $10.
