Storytime for babies, toddlers, and all preschoolers!
All Ages are welcome to join us for a fun and educational storytime featuring songs, lullabies, nursery rhymes, fingerplays, and picture books.
Remember, storytime (reading) is important for brain development of little ones. It's never too early for early literacy; these foundational skills are the building blocks for learning to read and write!

Rancho Peñasquitos Library
As the 30th library in the City of San Diego, the Rancho Peñasquitos Branch Library opened in 1992, replacing a much smaller temporary facility built in the early 1980s. Library supporters advocated for a larger building to serve this rapidly growing community. The current 20,650-square-foot library features an open layout with plenty of desks and study spaces, along with an outdoor courtyard and large indoor children's area. Students and youth make up a large percentage of library users, giving the Rancho Peñasquitos Library one of the highest circulation patterns of all 36 City libraries.
