On Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025, as daylight savings time ends, the Gaslamp Quarter transforms into a vibrant celebration of history at the 25th Annual Fall Back Festival. From Noon to 4 p.m., the streets surrounding the iconic Davis-Horton House at 4th and Island Avenue will transport visitors to a bygone era, filled with historic fun, hands-on learning, and memorable adventures for the entire family.
Now in its milestone 25th year, Fall Back Festival has become a beloved San Diego tradition—where families gather to experience old-fashioned amusements, cultural demonstrations, and timeless community spirit. As the clocks "fall back," so does the Gaslamp Quarter, offering an immersive afternoon where history truly comes to life.
Bring your loved ones for a Sunday brimming with interactive activities and entertainment: watch in awe as a talented blacksmith forges iron, join the laughter and cheers of a pie-eating contest, feel the rhythm of the Kumeyaay Drum Circle, and explore dozens of engaging attractions designed to spark curiosity and delight children of all ages.
