Connection is the quiet thread stitching us back together. Join us at Verbatim Books Saturday, May 16 for an evening of prose, poetry, and community as six acclaimed local and California authors celebrate new releases exploring the theme Healing Through Connection. Through story and verse, they ask how connection to people, place, art, and each other helps carry us through.
Arrive early. The first 25 guests will receive a free mini-zine created by host Joy Saler Drees, and you’ll have the chance to browse zines, meet the authors, and have books signed.
Special guest Limitless Adventures, a local non-profit, will also be present to share how their work creates free outdoor experiences for people with physical and intellectual disabilities. Find out more at https://www.limitless-adventures.org/
