Vancouver guitarist Paul Pigat is one of those rare players who can burn through rockabilly, jazz, roots, and everything in between without breaking a sweat. Blessed with a jazz man's sheen, a rockabilly heart, and restless musical curiosity, Pigat has quietly built a list of credits that would be the envy of anyone in the business — sharing stages and lending his distinctive guitar work to artists like Jeff Beck, Jakob Dylan, Brian Setzer, Albert Lee, James Burton, Neko Case, and the Reverend Horton Heat.

Much like Steve Cropper standing behind Otis Redding at Stax, Pigat has spent years creating sweet sounds for some of the best artists around without always getting the attention you'd expect. But anyone who's caught him live knows the secret is out — Pigat is a combustible, genre-defying force on the fretboard and one of the most versatile guitarists working today.
