Southwest Airlines and Coca-Cola invite families to celebrate America250 with a free block party in Balboa Park’s Plaza de Panama on Saturday, Oct. 24, from noon to 4 p.m. Stop by anytime for carnival games and prizes, Cherry Coke Zero Sugar floats with Stella Jean’s Ice Cream, local food trucks, photo opportunities with the Coca-Cola Polar Bear and the Padres Friar, and a giant community mural kids can help color.
The event is free and open to all, with no tickets or RSVP required.

Welcome to Balboa Park - the nation's largest urban cultural park. Hours: The Balboa Park grounds are open 24 hours a day, the Visitors Center is open 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. daily and museum hours vary by institution.
