What happens when wildlife needs help—and what happens after an animal is rescued?
Join Wildlife Jewels® for a special community evening at The Naked Cafe exploring Solana Beach’s remarkable wildlife through real rescue stories, wildlife rehabilitation, art, and conversation.
Dr. Azi Sharif, Founder & Executive Director of Wildlife Jewels, will share stories and discoveries from the organization’s coastal monitoring and bird rescue work, including the seabird starvation and mortality event witnessed along our coast this spring. Learn how to recognize signs of wildlife in distress and what to do when an animal may need help.
Special guest Dr. Erica Ellis, Medical Director of Shalom Wildlife Hospital, will take guests behind the scenes of wildlife rehabilitation and share what it takes to give injured and orphaned wildlife a second chance in the wild.
Throughout the evening, art and photography from the Wildlife Jewels® Collections will be showcased throughout The Naked Cafe, celebrating rescued animals and the remarkable wildlife of our coast.
Come discover the wildlife living all around us and learn how each of us can help protect it.
