Halloween in La Mesa Village

Trick-or-Treat in downtown La Mesa at participating businesses + enjoy a variety of fun, FREE Halloween themed activities!

The La Mesa Village Association will host its 8th Annual Halloween in La Mesa Village Trick-or-Treating Event on Saturday, October 31! It will be a spooktacular event as the downtown Village gets into the Halloween spirit by handing out treats to our community. This is a free, family-friendly event for all to enjoy - no tickets necessary!

Dress up in costume and trick-or-treat at participating businesses from 4 - 6 p.m. along La Mesa Blvd. between Grant Ave. - Acacia Ave. and adjacent streets (both sides of Spring St.). Remember to bring your own trick-or-treat bag to collect all those goodies!

Stick around and visit the retail shops and grab a bite to eat at one of our many downtown La Mesa restaurants! It's going to be a frightfully fun evening!

Entertainment:

- *Halloween-themed Stilt Walkers - spot fun-themed characters walking up and down La Mesa Blvd. for a frightfully fun selfie!

- *Howl-o-Ween Pet Costume Contest - check in begins at 3:30 p.m., judging starts at approx. 3:45 p.m. (see below for more info)

Dress up your pet for a fun Halloween costume contest!

WHAT: Dress up your pet(s) and enter them into one of the following categories at the event - "Best Pet/Pet Parent Combo" or . There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each category.

WHEN: Check-in begins at 3:30 p.m. Judging begins at approx. 3:45 p.m.

WHERE: It all takes place at the Fountain Courtyard by the La Mesa Blvd. Trolley Station (Spring St./La Mesa Blvd.).
