Poway Shakespeare is a new professional theatre company based in Old Poway Park. Our inaugural production, "Bards with Blades," features fast-paced Shakespearean scenes with live stage combat and will run from May 13–23 as part of the San Diego International Fringe Festival, with a special preview on May 11 in Balboa Park.
This launch represents our long-term vision to establish a home for high-quality, accessible Shakespeare within our community.
