“THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS” (2001. 127 minutes.R) - Wes Anderson’s absurdist love letter to NYC centers around the escapades of the eccentric Tenenbaum family, led by con-man father (Gene Hackman) who is separated from his wife (Angelica Huston) and estranged from his three genius children who have fallen on hard times (Gwyneth Paltrow, Ben Stiller, Luke Wilson).
