This year, families, friends, and couples looking for a festive night out are invited to experience a reimagined seaside celebration that shimmers with Millions of lights, melodies, and holiday joy.
Immerse yourself in the wonder of the expanded Holiday Light Trail, glide on our sparkling Glice® skating rink, and discover treasures at our thriving Holiday Market. Sip and savor your way through the Holiday Wine Walk, capture unforgettable moments with Santa and his merry friends, and let the little ones bask in the joy of Frosty’s Fun Zone, all just moments away from the beautiful Pacific Ocean! Delightful seasonal food and beverages will be available throughout the venue to keep your spirits bright.

Returning by popular demand, the Holiday Wine Walk has been expanded to be a nightly delight for the 21+ crowd! Stroll through the twinkling lights with a souvenir tasting cup, sampling exquisite pours at various stops throughout the venue.
Families will find endless opportunities for fun and togetherness. Santa and his merry friends will arrive nightly at 5 p.m. (on December 26, Santa returns to the North Pole, but his cheerful helpers will still be on hand), offering complimentary smartphone photo opportunities for families and friends.
The little ones will love bouncing and playing in Frosty’s Fun Zone, while teens and adults can glide on the Glice® rink and indulge in seasonal snacks and sips before exploring the wonder of the light trail and market. For those seeking a cozy and private experience, reserve your own Igloo or Fire Pit Table, complete with personal drink service.

Thursday, December 18: Community Night: All General Admission tickets are Buy One, Get One Free. Add ons and other ticket types are full price.
Friday, December 19: First Responders & Nurses Night: All First Responders and Nurses get free admission with a valid world ID or badge. All other party members must purchase tickets.
Sunday, December 21: Military Night: All active duty Military members and Veterans get free admission with valid ID or badge. All other party members must purchase tickets.
Monday, December 22: Senior Night: Guests ages 65 and over get free admission with a valid ID. All other party members must purchase tickets.
Tuesday, December 23: Student Night: All students get free admission with a current, valid school ID. All other party members must purchase tickets.
Del Mar Fairgrounds
The 22nd District Agricultural Association (22nd DAA) manages and operates the Del Mar Fairgrounds; its nearby equestrian facility, the Horsepark; and the Del Mar Golf Center, on behalf of the State of California. No tax monies are used in the operation of these facilities. The Del Mar Fairgrounds supports its budget through admission, parking and facility rental fees. The Fairgrounds, including its parking lots, is approximately 340 acres; Horsepark is approximately 65 acres. The Fairgrounds and Horsepark are the sites of nearly 350 events each year. They include weddings, receptions, bar and bat mitzvahs, equestrian and other animal shows, concerts, craft shows, home shows and other social and consumer events.View the event calendar for a day-to-day view of the latest events. Location The Del Mar Fairgrounds is located 20 miles north of downtown San Diego, at 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd, in the city of Del Mar, California. From Interstate 5, take the Via de la Valle exit and head west (a left turn from the freeway exit if you are northbound; a right turn if you are southbound). Take Via De La Valle to Jimmy Durante Boulevard and turn left. The Fairgrounds will be on your right. Del Mar Horsepark is about two miles east of the Fairgrounds at the corner of Via de la Valle and El Camino Real, at 14550 El Camino Real. Facilities Fairgrounds facilities feature 180,000 square feet of exhibit space, ranging from the Grandstand luxury suites, perfect for an intimate gathering of 10-20 people, to O’Brien Hall, which can hold up to 6,800 people. Also, the Fairgrounds has several outdoor venues, including the Grandstand and the Del Mar Arena, which can seat as many as 7,000 people.
