DISCO RIOT presents S P A C E Rising 2026 Showcase, the final presentation from our (R)evolution Artist Interns, Skyla Miles, Liz Fields, Tiffany Martinez-Delgado, Ethne Acosta, Eon Allum, and Hope Worth. S P A C E Rising Residency and Showcase is an iteration of our S P A C E residency program designed specifically to support our (R)evolution Artist Interns. We are pleased to facilitate this 10 week residency program which supports 6 rising dance-makers in their pursuit to deepen their practice and explore new ideas in collaboration with their fellow artists. S P A C E Rising offers an organized and mindful cohort-driven experience for creative inquiry, artistic development, networking, creative and cultural exchange, and a platform to share work.
City Heights Performance Annex is ADA accessible.
City Heights/Weingart Library And Performance Annex
As part of the City Heights Initiative, a public/private partnership between the city and Price Charities, the two-story library building and neighboring park opened in November 1998. The City Heights/Weingart Branch Library serves one of the most culturally diverse neighborhoods in San Diego and is the busiest city library for public computer usage. Connected to the library is the Performance Annex, a black box theatre that offers a variety of dance and music performances, along with lessons for adults and children. The Performance Annex is the only theatre that the city owns and operates.
