Layover’s Summer Sunset Live Music Series

The Summer Sunset Live Music Series features local artists set to perform on the rooftop lounge, where patrons can enjoy the live music, cocktails and sunset views over the San Diego Bay. The performances are open to the public and each highlight a corresponding beverage partner to activate exciting giveaways and prizes.

6/25 - Clinton Davis
On Saturday, June 25 traditional fingerstyle guitarist Clinton Davis will perform at Layover, the outdoor rooftop lounge and bar located on top of the InterContinental Hotel San Diego. An evening sponsored by Balcones Bourbon, guests can enjoy whiskey-centric cocktail specials and participate in complimentary giveaways from Balcones Distilling, while enjoying the sweet sounds of old-time folk from a fifth-generation Kentuckian. The event will run from 5pm until 8pm, prime time for guests to admire the sweeping sunset bay views, and is open to the public.

7/9 - TikiTronic
On Saturday, July 9 Tiki-style 80s cover band TikiTronic will perform at Layover, the outdoor rooftop lounge and bar located on top of the InterContinental Hotel San Diego. An evening sponsored by Cutwater Rum, guests can enjoy tropical rum-centric cocktail specials and participate in complimentary giveaways of tiki mugs, sunglasses and more, while enjoying the sweet sounds of groovy, tropical old school hits. The event will run from 5pm until 8pm, prime time for guests to admire the sweeping sunset bay views, and is open to the public.

7/23 - Bruno Serrano Trio and Monette Marino
On Saturday, July 23 Bruno Serrano Trio and world percussionist Monette Marino will perform at Layover, the outdoor rooftop lounge and bar located on top of the InterContinental Hotel San Diego. An evening sponsored by SouthNorte Brewing and Volcan Tequila, guests can sip on SouthNorte beer and Volcan Tequila drink specials, as well as participate in complimentary giveaways including prizes like giveaway hats and sunglasses. The event will run from 5pm until 8pm, prime time for guests to admire the sweeping sunset bay views, and is open to the public.
