As a parent, it can be tricky to navigate the most pressing issues of our time: racial injustice, climate change, school violence, and economic inequality. But we also have an immense opportunity to teach our children that their words and actions can truly transform the world.
Wrestle with the challenges, ask the questions, and explore practical ways of empowering your children for justice with this online book discussion group for parents! Gathering Wednesday evenings via Zoom from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. beginning Wednesday, February 16, we'll read and respond to "The Sandbox Revolution," which features diverse voices on topics such as education, money, anti-racism, resistance, spirituality, disability justice, and Earth care.
Our intimate-sized discussion group will be a brave space free from correcting, comparing, and competing. Bring your struggles, hopes, fears, and questions!
