The Alliance Française San Diego is proud to present the city’s cinematic event of the year, the San Diego French Film Festival, gathering cinephiles and francophiles, to celebrate francophonie, culture, and gastronomy. The Festival runs from June 11 to June 13, with a glamorous opening ceremony on June 11 at the high-end movie theater THE LOT in the heart of La Jolla with guests from the film industry, the arts and diplomacy.
Three days to celebrate francophone cinema. The selection includes movies each depicting a different aspect of the concept of travel, with the feature films L’Astronaute (France), Le Plongeur (Canada), Mascarade (France), and Covid-19 Ground Zero (France-USA), the short film Cendres (Tunisia), and a selection of ten short films.
In line with its mission to support culture, part of the profits will support educational programs for students learning French in the San Diego school district.
