With over a million sparkling lights, Snow N Glow is an electrifying stroll-through holiday lights event, offering a symphony of sight and sound. The limited-run event will brighten up the holidays at the Del Mar Fairgrounds starting on Saturday, December 4, 2021.
Not only will friends and families be able to rev up their holiday spirit while spending time together outdoors surrounded by a million twinkling and glowing lights, Snow N Glow invites families to make lasting memories in real snow! Exhilarating snow tubing on a five lane, 100-foot-long snow-covered hill will be available for all ages and as well a dedicated snow play area.
Rather stay warm and cozy in your own car? Holidays In Your Car, presented by Subaru, is back, inviting families to buckle up and make lasting memories from the comfort and safety of their own vehicles. With headlights turned off, attendees drive through an enchanting mile-and-a-half display of over one million dazzling LED lights, accompanied by uplifting holiday music. Awe-inspiring holograms and impressive multi-colored projections casting festive images of the season onto sets - some standing over 40 feet tall - will all contribute to an unforgettable experience celebrating the most magical time of the year!
Igloos in California? Yes, there are! To make holiday celebrations even more merry and bright, private, transparent geodesic dome “igloos” are available for rent, allowing groups to gather in their own comfy shelter. Adorned with cushy sofas, plush pillows and bean bag seating, each igloo comes with its own personal firepit for toasting marshmallows.
The most magical time of the year is not complete without festive food and drink, and all the makings for s’mores will be available for purchase, as well as hot chocolate, beer, wine and other fare.

Snow N Glow is open Friday through Sunday weekly from 4 - 9 p.m. starting on Saturday, December 4 through January 2, as well as December 20-23. Tickets are priced at $17.99 for adults and $12.99 for children 3-10 for the holiday light experience and the snow play area, and $34.99 for adults and children for the Snow N Glow holiday light experience, snow play and unlimited snow tubing. Children two and under are free.
Holidays In Your Car is open nightly and tickets are $45 and the number of passengers must not exceed the number of safety belts/seats in the vehicle. Tickets for all experiences are available online and at the door unless the event is sold out.
To offer a safe and enjoyable experience, Snow N Glow is following CDC and State Guidelines, working with each city to ensure that every event meets or exceeds all recommendations.

Del Mar Fairgrounds
The 22nd District Agricultural Association (22nd DAA) manages and operates the Del Mar Fairgrounds; its nearby equestrian facility, the Horsepark; and the Del Mar Golf Center, on behalf of the State of California. No tax monies are used in the operation of these facilities. The Del Mar Fairgrounds supports its budget through admission, parking and facility rental fees. The Fairgrounds, including its parking lots, is approximately 340 acres; Horsepark is approximately 65 acres. The Fairgrounds and Horsepark are the sites of nearly 350 events each year. They include weddings, receptions, bar and bat mitzvahs, equestrian and other animal shows, concerts, craft shows, home shows and other social and consumer events.View the event calendar for a day-to-day view of the latest events. Location The Del Mar Fairgrounds is located 20 miles north of downtown San Diego, at 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd, in the city of Del Mar, California. From Interstate 5, take the Via de la Valle exit and head west (a left turn from the freeway exit if you are northbound; a right turn if you are southbound). Take Via De La Valle to Jimmy Durante Boulevard and turn left. The Fairgrounds will be on your right. Del Mar Horsepark is about two miles east of the Fairgrounds at the corner of Via de la Valle and El Camino Real, at 14550 El Camino Real. Facilities Fairgrounds facilities feature 180,000 square feet of exhibit space, ranging from the Grandstand luxury suites, perfect for an intimate gathering of 10-20 people, to O’Brien Hall, which can hold up to 6,800 people. Also, the Fairgrounds has several outdoor venues, including the Grandstand and the Del Mar Arena, which can seat as many as 7,000 people.
