"Surf Art: Exploring California’s Coastal Culture" presents surfing’s deep-rooted influence on the artists and art that have emerged from the beach culture lifestyle. Everyone who has experienced the feeling of riding a wave understands just how hard it is to describe that incredible sensation, referred to as “stoke.”
Through creative self-expression the 43 surf artists on display, exclusively from Southern California, capture the essence of stoke and the inspiration that can be found between the surfer and the wave.
