Follow the faceless boy through Merlin’s Forest, float downstream with Pennywise, climb aboard the Ghoul Bus where a cloister of Nuns share the horrifying ride with you, steampunk Chainsaw-Wielding clowns have the run of the trail, feel your way through the fog of the upside down world, and meet your favorite Horror Icons lurking in the dark corners……Do you have the guts? CNN named The Haunted Trail on the Top 5 BEST HAUNTED ATTRACTIONS in America!! True to it’s reputation, these haunts are not for children under 10 or the faint of heart. Parking is FREE at the Haunted Trail of Balboa Park! ALL TICKETS are DATE SPECIFIC We Strongly Recommend buying online in advance to guarantee entry. Walk-up Ticket Booth sales are limited & subject to capacity. The Haunted Trail COVID Safety: Unvaccinated guests are REQUIRED to wear a face mask at all times on the premises. Vaccinated guests are not required to wear a mask in the queue line, but they WILL BE REQUIRED to wear a mask to enter the actual haunt. Social Distancing of groups is strongly requested. The entire Haunted Trail staff and characters will be wearing masks, hand sanitizer is available, and the wait time in line has been reduced by implementing “Timed Ticketing”.
