A unique series of four classes in which we learn about, experiment with, and practice brain-science-based approaches to writing. Find out how to implement new ways to overcome mental blocks, trigger creativity, generate three-dimensional characters, find the elusive Unexpected Plot Idea, and more—all centered on information gleaned from cognitive science.
The first part of each class will be devoted to theory and practice: what cognitive science has to say about one of the topics, along with instruction in practical tools and techniques for transforming that theory into practice.
In the second part, we will talk about what we have noticed implementing the tools from the previous week—results we can discuss and examine together.
