The Yiddish Arts and Academics Association of North America (YAAANA) is happy to announce their new Yiddish classes and activities for beginners, intermediate, and advanced levels.
The courses will take place from Thursday, January 2 through Thursday, March 10. Click here to see full schedule for each level.
A short description for each level:
• Beginners: Range from courses teaching the Yiddish alef beys to the first steps in reading and conversing with others in Yiddish.
• Intermediate: These courses are for those with a good understanding of the basics who are ready to start delving further into the language.
• Advanced: These courses are for those who are comfortable with the Yiddish language in general and are ready to spread their linguistic wings with the language.
• All levels: These courses are designed for everyone interested in Yiddish language and culture, regardless of one’s proficiency or skills in the language.
