Ron Sims Shares Aggressive Strategies to Tackle Global Warming

Ron Sims was talking about global warming before it was politically correct or even acknowledged. Today, as the King County Executive, he sets environmentally friendly policy for the greater Seattle

He was talking about climate change in the eighties, before it was politically correct. Now Ron Sims is getting national attention for local solutions to global warming. As the Executive of King County, where Seattle is based, Sims is arguably Washington State's second most important elected official. He's undertaken an ambitious agenda to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and prepare for the predicted weather extremes ahead.

Ron Sims is in town to speak at the San Diego Natural History Museum Tuesday night as part of the global climate change lecture series.
