As Home Post first reported in June, the Michigan State Spartans and the University of North Carolina Tar Heels will square off this Veterans Day (11/11/11) on the deck of the USS Carl Vinson in San Diego Bay.
Tickets to the Carrier Classic are not for sale. According to ESPN, 3000 Sailors will get free tickets, as will 500 troops from other branches of the service. Free tickets will also be made available to veterans and participants of the Wounded Warrior Project.
