The Padres announced the viewing party has been canceled due to the death of former Padres player and Hall of Famer Tony Gwynn. However, the Park at the Park will remain open for fans to honor the baseball great, who died Monday morning.

Team USA includes three players with ties to Southern California — Los Angeles Galaxy defender Omar Gonzalez; reserve goalkeeper Nick Rimando, who played for UCLA and Montclair High School; and midfielder Michael Bradley, who lists Manhattan Beach as his hometown.
