Before Wisconsin and USC face off on the gridiron for Wednesday night’s Holiday Bowl, their marching bands went toe-to-toe in the battle of the bands.

As San Diego prepares to host the 2015 Holiday Bowl game between USC and the University of Wisconsin on Wednesday night, their marching bands battled it out in downtown San Diego.
The Badgers and Trojans marching bands played for musical supremacy with their horns, tubas and drums behind the downtown Convention Center.
Former Wisconsin center Brian Patterson said the bands get rambunctious, but it's all in fun.
“There’s no Sharks and Jets here,” Patterson said. “Everybody’s a winner today.”
The Holiday Bowl has been at Qualcomm Stadium since 1978.
Kick off is 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
