Cuba's Past May Offer Lessons for Iraq

From 1898 to 1902, U.S. forces occupied Cuba, following a quick victory over Spain. Many thought the U.S. presence would help usher in Cuban democracy. Instead, it helped foster widespread anti-American sentiment. NPR's Tom Gjelten reports.
