U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan has called for greater international attention to the killings in Darfur for months.

Now, in an attempt to improve the situation before he leaves office in January, Annan has organized a meeting of African, Arab and European leaders to discuss solutions.

Host Alex Chadwick talks with the BBC reporter Amber Henshaw, who is in Ethiopia today for the meeting.
