U.S. Helicopter Crash in Baghdad Kills 13

A U.S. Blackhawk helicopter crashed northeast of Baghdad on Saturday, killing all 13 aboard. The military said the crash was under investigation. The brief U.S. statement lacked the customary comment that the aircraft was not shot down, indicating it may have come under fire by insurgents.

Debbie Elliott speaks with Los Angeles Times Baghdad Bureau Chief Borzou Daragahi.
