All dressed up as a zombie and nowhere to go?
On this Halloween edition of the Weekend Preview, we've got some suggestions about how to spend your All Hallow's Eve and some spooky nights beyond.
You don't have to shiver alone in the dark tonight, you can shiver with other people at UC San Diego. That's where the Teeny Tiny Pit Orchestra will perform live music and sounds as classic silent horror films roll on.
This Halloween, a local band is being resurrected. In case you haven't heard, Rocket from the Crypt is back together and performing Oct. 31 at the House of Blues in Downtown San Diego. This will be the group's first Halloween performance since the band split up in 2005.
After Halloween, Day of the Dead is celebrated here and south of the border. San Diego's County's original Dia de los Muertos Celebration in Sherman Heights has events through November.
Also on Sunday, a noise pop band from San Francisco will be at North Park's Irenic. Deerhoof, known for having absolutely no idea what they are creating, are sure to put on yet another unpredictable show.
