Bill Would Repeal Subsidies for Big Oil Companies

This week, Democrats in the House of Representatives continue their "100 hour" agenda. One item on that list is subsidies to oil companies.

Democrats want to repeal big-oil subsidies and plow the money into tax incentives for renewable energy. Last year, Rep. Jim McDermott (D-WA) sponsored a similar bill that failed to pass in the Republican-controlled House. He speaks to John Ydstie about this bill's chances in a new Congress.
